Full Time Event Coordinator
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for sales of and planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, golf tournaments, and private parties. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their vision is brought to life.
- Create detailed event timelines, layouts, and checklists.
- Collaborate with internal teams (kitchen, service staff, groundskeepers) to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability.
- Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details align with client expectations.
- Handle on-site troubleshooting and problem-solving during events.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and secure necessary rentals, equipment, or services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend new ideas to enhance event offerings.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of golf events/tournaments is a plus.
